Your privacy

No accounts, analytics or adverts: the little data this site handles, and your rights over it.

9 entriesAbout 1 min to read

Entry 01In short

No accounts, no sign-up forms, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. We handle as little personal information as a website can.

Entry 02Who is responsible

Aurenhalt publishes aurenhalt.com and is the data controller for the small amount of personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@aurenhalt.com.

Entry 03If you write to us

We use your details and message only to reply, relying on our legitimate interest in answering you, and delete them once the conversation is over unless we need to keep a record of a correction.

Entry 04Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site secure and working. They are not used to profile anyone and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Entry 05What stays on your device

No tracking or advertising cookies. Closing the cookie note saves one local preference. The dial, the camp log, the vitals, the camp screen and the self-check work in your open tab only and store nothing.

Entry 06Sharing

We never sell, rent or trade personal data, and share it only when the law requires us to.

Entry 07Official game sites

Official-site buttons take you to other companies, whose own privacy notices apply.

Entry 08Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted and object to how it is used. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Entry 09Children

The site is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from children. A parent or carer can ask us to delete anything a child has sent us.
